Sleeping Beauty Lerwick will be closing on 31st October 2025.

This has been a very difficult decision for us. Our Lerwick salon was our very first location, opening back in 1999, and we’ve been privileged to welcome so many wonderful clients through our doors over the years.

After 23 years as our fabulous Salon Manager, Rozalyn has decided to pursue a new career path outside of the beauty industry, and with her departure, we feel it is the right time to bring this chapter to a close.

However, we’re delighted to share some good news — Lori, one of our lovely team members, will be taking over the premises at 175 Commercial Street to open her own salon!

She will be able to transfer your bookings over to her new business and has agreed to honour any Sleeping Beauty Gift Cards, Courses, or Platinum Accounts. It will be a new business with a fresh look, but with familiar faces and a new energy — we’re so pleased to be passing the space into such capable hands.

If you have outstanding Gift Cards/Platinum Balances, you are welcome to:

• Use them in-salon before 31st October (our new 2025 Elemis Gift Sets are available!),

• Redeem them on our online shop, (contact office@sleepingbeautysalon.com for assistance) or continue to use them on services with Lori from November onwards.

It’s a bittersweet moment for us — Rozalyn and the Lerwick salon have been such a special part of our story — but we’re excited to see Lori continue the legacy in her own way.

If you have an existing appointment for 1st November or later, please get in touch to confirm whether you’d like your booking transferred to Lori’s new business. If you prefer to cancel, you can do so through the online booking system or our app.
