Lilac Miller
Lilac qualified as a beauty therapist in 2001 and completed
an MA in Management & Economics at St Andrews University
before taking over the Lerwick salon in 2005 and opening a
second location later that year.
She is also an Assessor in Beauty Therapy and supports the
training and development of Sleeping Beauty's junior therapists.
Alongside her office role, Lilac continues to work with clients
at Margaret Street.

Waxing, while continuing to enjoy the variety of treatments
across the beauty industry.

Ainsleigh Locke
Monday–Friday • SBHQ
Ainsleigh joined Sleeping Beauty in 2021 following a background
in hospitality. She also holds an HNC in Events and now supports
the day-to-day running of Sleeping Beauty's head office.
Outside work, Ainsleigh enjoys walking with her dog and making
time for a Sleeping Beauty treatment whenever she can.

Trainer & Assessor
Jen Macleod
Jen joined Sleeping Beauty in 2020 as the company's Trainer
& Assessor. She holds an HND in Beauty Therapy and brings
extensive industry experience from both hands-on therapy and
owning her own beauty and holistic business.
Her wider qualifications include counselling skills, teaching,
assessing and psychology. Through Sleeping Beauty Academy, Jen
shares her experience with therapists and students and supports
ongoing professional development across the business.

Lauren Smith

Lauren joined Sleeping Beauty in 2009 during the final year of
her HND Beauty Therapy studies at Inverness College. After
graduating she joined the team full-time and progressed into
management in 2015.
Her training spans advanced facials, CACI, IPL, BIOTEC,
microdermabrasion, waxing, reflexology, lash treatments,
massage and professional skincare.

Book-keeper
Grahame Harrison
Grahame joined Sleeping Beauty in 2015 and looks after
the company's accounting and bookkeeping.
